Working capital

Working capital, in your account this week.

Payroll doesn't wait for an underwriting committee. Working capital is the fastest general-purpose money we place — sized off your deposits, not a five-year projection.

Overview

The money that covers the gap between now and paid

Working capital is unrestricted operating cash. You're not pledging a building or waiting on an appraisal — the underwriter reads three to six months of bank statements, sizes the advance against your deposit pattern, and funds.

That speed is the point. It's the right tool when the cost of waiting is higher than the cost of capital: a payroll cycle you have to make, an inventory buy at a discount that closes Friday, a supplier who'll cut 8% for cash up front, or a receivable that slipped 30 days and left a hole.

  • $10,000 to $2,000,000 depending on monthly deposit volume
  • Funded in 1–3 business days once statements are in
  • Daily, weekly or monthly remittance — matched to your cash cycle
  • No collateral pledged. A standard UCC-1 filing, not a lien on your home
  • Renewable — most clients requalify for more after 50–60% paydown
  • Credit from 550, and the file matters more than the score

Right fit

When this is the answer

  • A payroll or tax deadline you have to make
  • Inventory or materials at a real discount
  • A signed contract that needs cash to start
  • Bridging a receivable that slipped
  • A marketing push with a measurable return
Look elsewhere

When it isn't

  • Covering a shortfall that repeats every month
  • Paying off a cheaper loan with more expensive money
  • An expense with no path to a return
  • A business already carrying three positions
Questions

Working Capital, answered.

A term loan is a fixed amount at a fixed monthly payment over a set number of years, underwritten heavily on credit and financials. Working capital is underwritten on deposit history, funds in days rather than weeks, and usually remits daily or weekly. It costs more and moves faster.
Any legitimate business purpose — payroll, inventory, materials, marketing, hiring, taxes, repairs, expansion. There's no restricted-use list the way SBA has one. Underwriters will still ask, and a specific answer strengthens the file.
They can if the advance is sized wrong. That's the single most common mistake we see. We size the remittance against your actual average daily balance and stress it against your slowest month before recommending anything.
Often, yes. But before adding a second position, ask for a consolidation model. Rolling everything into one longer facility frequently produces a lower total remittance than stacking — we'll show you both on one page.
Most funders allow a renewal at 50–60% paydown, and renewals typically price better than the original because you now have a payment history. We'll flag your renewal window when you hit it.
